Rödebyskolan is a grades 7-9 school with approximately 250 students and is centrally located in Rödeby. We offer the opportunities of a large school and the safety and care of a small school. We have access to a large, excellent sports hall, an indoor swimming pool, and an outdoor swimming area. There are also running trails in fantastic nature. Rödeby is located about 1.5 miles north of Karlskrona and has good bus connections to central Karlskrona.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a special education teacher at Rödebyskolan 7-9, you have an important role in creating conditions for all students' learning and development. You work both independently and in close collaboration with the school's special education coordinator, special education teachers, and teachers to develop instruction, identify students' needs, and design support measures that strengthen students' ability to achieve their goals.
In your work, you use varied teaching methods and digital tools as a natural part of learning to create an accessible, modern, and motivating learning environment.
A central part of your assignment is to contribute to a safe and inclusive school environment where students feel seen, respected, and motivated to develop. You work to promote, prevent, and address students' learning challenges and collaborate closely with teachers, student support services, guardians, and school leadership to create the best conditions for each student.
QUALIFICATIONS
The position requires teacher certification with eligibility to teach grades 7-9 in Swedish and English, as well as a special education teacher degree.
