Ref: 20261960 Job Responsibilities At Hyllievångsskolan, we are seeking an engaged and relationship-focused special education teacher with a focus on literacy and writing. As a special education teacher, you are a central person in our students' development and daily life. As a special education teacher at Hyllievångsskolan for grades 4–6, you are responsible, together with colleagues, for organizing, planning, and implementing specialized instruction. You collaborate with a mathematics special education teacher and with other student support services, colleagues, and school leadership, and you coordinate with other stakeholders and guardians. You plan, carry out, and evaluate instruction and, in collaboration with a special educator, you ensure work with targeted support and additional accommodations. You document continuously according to applicable regulations and, as needed, contribute to the special educator's assessments. Qualifications You are a certified elementary school teacher with credentials to teach Swedish/Swedish as a second language in grades 4–6. You hold a special education teacher certification with a focus on literacy and writing. If you have experience working as a special education teacher, we consider that a merit. You need strong knowledge of school regulations and the ability to apply them in your daily work. It is important that you have strong didactic and pedagogical skills and that you have knowledge of relevant digital tools. You have the ability to lead and organize work to create a conducive learning environment and you can develop your work based on evidence-based research.
