JOB DUTIES
We are seeking an engaged special education teacher who wants to be part of developing our work with students with special support needs. With us you'll have a varied role where you combine direct student work with mentoring and support for colleagues.
An important part of the assignment is work with our Focus/Flex group. You will work closely with students and provide some instruction, but also have a central role in mentoring and supporting teachers regarding classroom management, accommodations, pedagogical strategies, and learning environments.
Your duties include:
• working with students individually and in small groups
• being part of the Focus/Flex group work
• mentoring and guiding teachers and other educational staff
• contributing special education expertise regarding accommodations and special support
• developing teaching and learning environments together with colleagues
• collaborating closely with Student Support services and following up on student interventions
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is trained as a special education teacher and who has a genuine interest in creating good conditions for students to succeed. You are confident in working with students and have a talent for building trusting relationships. At the same time, you are unpretentious, receptive, and enjoy sharing your expertise and developing together with others.
Experience working with and teaching students with neuropsychiatric conditions and teaching Swedish as a second language (SVA) is particularly valued. Experience teaching in small instruction groups is also desirable.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
