Adapted Primary School is seeking an engaged special education teacher who wants to help create joy in learning for our students! The school is centrally located in Lidingö with proximity to bus/Lidingöbanan and close to both forest and sea.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
As a special education teacher, you will lead a class of 5 students where you, together with a teaching colleague and teaching assistants, plan and conduct instruction based on clarifying pedagogy and adapted methods. Students are taught based on the curriculum's subject areas. Through individualized instruction, documentation of support measures, and close collaboration with student welfare services, you contribute to creating an accessible and inclusive learning environment.
With us you will be part of a competent and collaboration-oriented team consisting of special education teachers, subject teachers, and teaching assistants. We prioritize collegial learning and actively work to develop our pedagogical methods and create sustainable working practices that promote student learning.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a certified special education teacher with experience teaching in adapted primary school. You have good experience working with students on the autism spectrum and meeting students with extensive support needs.
You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to create clear structures that promote learning, safety and participation. With a low-affective approach, you adapt instruction based on each student's individual circumstances and needs. As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented and relationship-building. You build trusting relationships with students, guardians and colleagues and are driven by giving each student the best possible opportunities to develop and reach their full potential.
Employment form: Permanent employment.
The Municipality applies individual salary setting. Start date as soon as possible, by agreement.
