The Role of Special Education Teacher As a special education teacher with us, you work at the individual, group, and organizational levels. A large part of the work involves direct work with students, both individually and in small groups. You collaborate with teaching staff and provide support in implementing accommodations and specialized support. You also contribute to developing the school's learning environments and support organization. Your tasks include: • providing support to students and groups to increase goal achievement • conducting assessments and pedagogical evaluations • developing, implementing, and following up intervention programs • mentoring and supporting teachers on pedagogical matters You are an active part of the school's student welfare team (EHT) and participate in preventive and intervention-focused student welfare work. The role also includes collaboration with guardians and external partners. The position is ongoing at 100% and is a vacation-relief position, starting as soon as possible or by agreement. Here, approximately 250 students study within the areas of agriculture, equestrian science, animal care, and horticulture. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher and holds a special education teacher qualification or is studying to become a special education teacher. You have experience working in schools and meeting students with support needs. You have strong collaboration skills and a relational approach. You are secure, attentive, and have a talent for building trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your tasks, and actively contribute to the school's development. You are solution-focused and have a strong commitment to student learning and development. We appreciate if you have an interest in natural resource management.
