Celsiusgatan's group home is located near Värnhemstorget. We have four floors with ten apartments on each floor, all opening onto a shared living room and kitchen. Job Responsibilities As a specialist nursing assistant with a focus on dementia in our specialized residential facility, you will perform tasks that are part of the regular care work in the department. The section manager is responsible for leading the work and may, in addition to the tasks listed below, assign you other tasks within the dementia field. The following tasks are part of your role as a specialist nursing assistant with a focus on dementia in specialized residential care: Initiate and lead quality and operational improvements within your area of specialization. Lead and contribute to the development of person-centered care and family support. Contribute to development and research work within your area of specialization. Base care measures on evidence-based practice. Collaborate with the work team, licensed personnel and other stakeholders. Actively participate in relevant networks. Support colleagues within your area of specialization in social documentation and development of implementation plans. Provide support to the responsible manager in development within your area of specialization. Act as a mentor/supervisor for colleagues and students. Requirements: Nursing assistant education with proof of protected professional title Mentor training (minimum VO-college level 2 or equivalent) Diploma from post-secondary education comprising at least 200 YH credits or at least 60 HP. The education must have a clear focus on dementia. 5 years of work experience in healthcare, medical care or social services. Documented knowledge, skills and experience in one or more areas of specialization within healthcare, medical care or social services. Comfortable using the computer as a work tool and aid, and have the willingness and ability to quickly learn new programs and systems. Good Swedish in speech and writing. Meritorious: Specific work experience in the dementia field System experience with current tools – for example LifeCare, Procapita, Flexite, Senior Alert and BPSD Possibly one of Malmö's other major languages such as Arabic, English, Finnish, Bosnian, Polish, Croatian, Serbian, etc. As a person, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks, are good at structuring your work and have the ability to drive development initiatives. You find it easy to adapt how you communicate depending on people's different circumstances. Based on your specialist knowledge, you have a particularly good understanding of the professional aspects of the work and continuously maintain your specialist knowledge in order to be a knowledge resource for others.
