About You
We are looking for you with a Swedish medical license and completed specialist training in psychiatry. You also have a strong interest in our specialty and want to help shape the future development of the specialty in the region. Great weight will be placed on your personal qualities.
Your Work
As a physician at the clinic, you are responsible for patient care, perform diagnostics, initiate and evaluate pharmacological treatment, and collaborate with other care providers and units regarding patient treatment and rehabilitation.
The clinic has a diverse team of competencies, including medical secretaries, nurses, physicians, care assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, etc. We are a large and pleasant work group that includes both curious newcomers and experienced staff members who are happy to share their knowledge. Together we strive to offer our patients fast and professional care with high quality.

Certificate of medical degree from the institution(s) where you completed your basic education. This also applies if you are educated in another EU country or outside the EU
Credential certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen)
Specialist certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare
Possible certificate of academic degree, such as Doctor of Medicine or Associate Professor, including date of defense and title of dissertation
Complete updated publication list, if applicable
Certificate/documentation of teaching experience and any other pedagogical merits
Any additional documented qualifications regarding, for example, clinical knowledge/experience, clinical development work, management experience, and anything else you wish to highlight as qualifying for the position sought

Job Information
We are looking for a specialist physician with the possibility of a permanent position. Working hours are during daytime with on-call duty in evenings and weekends at our acute psychiatry clinic at Sunderby Hospital as agreed. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
The position is within psychiatry: Based on the nature of the operation and security requirements, as an applicant to our operation, you must be prepared to provide an excerpt from the criminal records register.
