Motala Hospital is a county district hospital with emergency operations 24 hours a day. Here you will find all the advantages of a small hospital - a friendly and family-like atmosphere combined with efficiency and broad expertise. The clinic has two MRI scanners, two CT scanners, two ultrasound labs, two skeletal labs, and a fluoroscopy lab where simpler interventional procedures are also performed. The clinic has close collaboration with the X-ray clinic at Linköping University Hospital, and there is an opportunity, if interested, to place parts of your position at one of the sections there. Our group consists of approximately 15 physicians, of which four are residents in training.

Job Description
We are a small team of colleagues where the focus is on helping each other to manage daily operations. The day begins with a physician meeting where the day's schedule is coordinated. A large part of the operation consists of acute examinations, but also elective review of CT, MRI and plain radiographs, as well as elective ultrasound and fluoroscopy examinations are performed. Simpler interventional procedures are performed (pleural drainage, ascites drainage, nephrostomy tube changes). Usually colleagues have somewhat different focus areas in the operation, but it is important to be able to work on-call as a general radiologist.
We have no night on-call duty; on-call ends at 20.00.
About You
We are seeking a specialist physician in radiology. Previous experience within the specialty is a merit but not a requirement. Experience in relevant or related areas is also a merit.
Since you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues and other operations, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
