About the Operation

The Adult Psychiatric Regional Clinic in Västernorrland has three service points: Sundsvall/Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Kramfors/Sollefteå. Specialized psychiatry primarily works with prevention, diagnosis, care, and treatment of mental illness and serious mental disorders. All on-call services evenings and weekends as well as all inpatient/coercive care takes place in Sundsvall and also covers Kramfors, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik. We are now seeking a specialist physician in psychiatry for the outpatient clinic in Härnösand. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date November 1, 2026.
Work Tasks
As a specialist physician with us, you have great opportunities to plan your workday. The main work tasks include patient responsibility, which means responsibility for medical investigation, assessment, and treatment of patients. Work tasks such as supervision of physicians, referral management, and contact with the Social Insurance Agency are also part of the position.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- Have specialist training in psychiatry
- Have experience supervising physicians
- Have good knowledge of Swedish and English at a vocationally functional level
It is advantageous if you:
- Have experience with psychiatric outpatient work
- Have good knowledge of English or other languages and master them in both speech and writing
