We are looking for an experienced specialist physician in orthopedics with a focus on foot surgery who wants to take an important role in driving and developing our foot surgery operations. About Aleris Elisabethsjukhuset Aleris Elisabethsjukhuset provides specialized care in orthopedics and hand surgery. We work with elective surgery in efficient care processes, both in outpatient and inpatient settings. Here we combine high medical quality with warm and personal care. The patient's best interests are always at the center, and you will become part of an experienced and dedicated team where we collaborate closely and support each other. We have close collaboration with Akademiska sjukhuset, which also includes teaching and further education. Right now we are also in an expansive phase with an expanded mandate from Region Uppsala. This means more patients, more colleagues, and good opportunities to influence how the operations develop. About the Role As a specialist physician with us, you will have independent work with great responsibility and the opportunity to influence both your own work and the development of operations. An important part of the assignment is to drive and further develop foot surgery operations. You will work closely with other specialist physicians and professions and collaborate with Akademiska sjukhuset and specialized care in neighboring regions. The role includes, among other things: assess, treat and follow up patients within foot surgery perform and develop foot surgery operations collaborate in multidisciplinary teams contribute to the development of work methods and care processes contribute with knowledge sharing, teaching and supervision. We have four operating rooms and an experienced operating team that together create good conditions for safe and efficient surgical operations. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for you as a licensed physician and specialist in orthopedics with at least three years of experience as a specialist with a focus on foot surgery. Since the position involves close collaboration with Akademiska sjukhuset and specialized care in neighboring regions, you need to have very good collaboration skills. We would also like to see that you have an interest in teaching, knowledge sharing and operations development. As a person you are confident in your professional role, take responsibility and care about providing good treatment. You appreciate working with others and want to contribute to a care experience where the patient feels seen, understood and involved.
