Vårdcentralen Vilan in Kristianstad is seeking a driven and competent specialist physician who wants to be part of our engaged team, and to create good conditions for a sustainable role, we are looking for a patient list of approximately 1,100 patients per full-time position for you as a specialist in general medicine. Here works a close-knit team with a focus on accessibility based on patient needs. Teamwork is a key principle and we see ourselves all as important members. Here are physician consultations, district nurse consultations including, for example, diabetes consultations, asthma/COPD consultations, elderly care consultations, and child health center (BVC). At our specimen collection area, nursing assistants handle both internal and external specimen collection. In addition, we offer advice and support to nursing homes and municipal home care services. We also have access to well-developed rehabilitation with physical therapy consultations, dietitian, social worker, and occupational therapist. In total, we are approximately 30 employees at the health center. In the premises there is also Psychotherapy Clinic Vilan Kristianstad, which is staffed by a psychologist. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS At the health center, we currently have both four specialists, four ST-physicians, and AT-physicians and sometimes BT-physicians. In addition, we have support from a senior physician who currently manages our two nursing homes. We offer the opportunity to also have side assignments, which is why we are now seeking a fifth specialist in general medicine. As a specialist physician in general medicine, you will have varied work where you meet patients of all ages from children to elderly. You work with both scheduled and acute visits and also have the opportunity to offer digital meetings when medically appropriate. Beyond patient visits, you play an important role in creating a secure and developing educational environment for future specialists. Your work takes place primarily at the health center, but when you feel ready, it can also include home visits to provide care where it is needed most. The health center works in teams to create better patient flow and a developing work environment. This is an important part of meeting the patient where the need exists, in line with Good and Nearby Care. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare and have specialist competence in general medicine. You have knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. We use IT support as much as possible to facilitate care and free up time for personal meetings, so it is an advantage if you have good experience working in various operating systems.
