WORK TASKS We are looking for a committed and attentive general medicine specialist who wants to be part of our team. The position offers a varied and developmental workday with tasks that include scheduled clinic visits, medical interventions at nursing homes, supervision of doctors in training, and some acute and unscheduled patient visits. You will meet patients of different ages and life situations, which provides both breadth and variation in the work. We value continuity and long-term patient relationships and would like to see that you appreciate working actively clinically and being available to your patients. In daily work, you are given the opportunity to work independently while having close access to colleagues and other professionals for collaboration and support. As a general medicine specialist, you may also serve at our on-call doctor center, which is open on weekday evenings after 5 p.m. and during weekends. The assignment is shared among several employees, and you will receive thorough introduction to feel confident in the role if on-call service becomes relevant. Public primary care management has recognized the importance of medical expertise in the transition, with us medical leaders are included in the management structure and chief medical officers and medical advisors have central roles in the development of care.
