Liepājas Education Administration (reg. no. 90000063151) Liepājas Preschool Educational Institution "Liedags" invites applications for Special Educator Work Location: Saulrietu iela 7, Liepāja Employment Contract: Indefinite term Part-time Position – 17 hours per week (0.567 rate) Salary: 1175.00 EUR (gross) per full-time equivalent Requirements for Applicants: Compliance with the education and professional qualifications requirements for teachers and professional development procedures established by Cabinet of Ministers regulations; Sense of responsibility, ability to make and justify decisions; Knowledge of psychology and child protection issues; Excellent communication and collaboration skills; Ability to analyze and resolve conflict situations; Proficiency in information and communication technology. Job Responsibilities: Plan, organize and implement corrective developmental work to address learning, behavioral and other developmental delays of students in accordance with preschool education program objectives and tasks, respecting students' needs, interests, abilities and experience; Assess students' academic skills and diagnose developmental delays; Develop individual program learning plans together with group teachers and monitor their implementation, and other duties as specified in the job description.
