Right now we're seeking engaged kitchen assistants for flexible staffing assignments in schools and preschools throughout the Greater Stockholm area.
🍳 About the Role and Your Responsibilities
As a kitchen assistant in schools and preschools, you play an important role in keeping the school day running smoothly. Your main responsibilities are to:
Assist with cooking and food preparation, create fresh salad buffets, and plate food in an appetizing way.
Prepare the dining area for service, handle food serving, and clean up afterward.
Manage dishwashing and cleaning to keep the kitchen in top condition.
Participate in self-inspection and ensure high food safety standards.
👤 Who Are You?
We're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. Since you'll work at different locations, you're flexible, social, and find it easy to collaborate with new people.
We're looking for someone who:
Has at least one year of documented experience from large-scale kitchens or school kitchens.
Holds a diploma in food hygiene/HACCP.
Speaks and understands Swedish fluently (so you can easily follow instructions and communicate with colleagues and guests).
Can provide a valid criminal record check for work in schools and preschools.
It's a plus (but not required) if you:
Have training from a hotel and restaurant school, or vocational training as a chef or meal service assistant.
