JOB DUTIES

As a social worker for financial assistance in the adult group, you will work with investigating and following up cases relating to work toward self-sufficiency and financial assistance. Your focus will be to support clients toward self-sufficiency and an independent life.

The Individual and Family Care Services (IFO) consists of a children's and youth group, an adult group, a reception unit, elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and open care services. You will have colleagues working in both the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS).
You collaborate with internal and external partners. You have close support from a case supervisor and unit manager and colleagues in your daily work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with experience working with financial assistance. You are educated as a social worker (socionom) or have other equivalent academic qualifications. Experience from social services is a merit.
The work requires professional conduct toward municipal residents in need of financial assistance, as well as good collaboration with various actors, both internally and externally. You work independently and plan and organize your work efficiently. You collaborate well with other people, are responsive in your conduct, and solution-focused. You are well versed and up-to-date with current legislation and can express yourself well in speech and writing.
Since the work may involve business travel, a category B driver's license is required.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and ability to collaborate.
Start date: November, by agreement.
