JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a social worker in the investigation unit, you work in various ways to ensure all children in the municipality thrive and grow up in safe conditions.
Work as an investigator is varied and meaningful. As a social worker in the investigation unit, you work with children, youth, and their families in need of support and protection, with the aim of finding sustainable solutions. You conduct investigations according to SoL and LVU, as well as follow-up on approved interventions of shorter duration. Investigation and follow-up are conducted according to BBiC, based on current legislation and Tierps Municipality guidelines. The investigation unit works closely with other groups in the department, including the intake, follow-up, and foster care units.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a social worker and wants to contribute to meaningful meetings with children and youth and their families. Experience in public administration, thorough knowledge of BBiC, in-depth knowledge of the Social Services Act, and good documentation skills are advantageous. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
To thrive with us and in this role, you are curious, skilled at building relationships, and interested in people. You are organized and enjoy collaboration, but also have the ability to work independently. You have knowledge of children's needs and are passionate about contributing to quality work.
Traveling and home visits are part of the position, so you need to hold a Class B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles.
