Welcome to us Would you like to work as a social worker with eviction prevention social work with a main focus on citizens who do not yet have an active case within social services? We are expanding the Community Service, Advice and Support unit with an additional social worker to develop and deepen this work, in line with the ambitions and provisions of the new Social Services Act. Enskede-Årsta-Vantör is one of Stockholm's largest district areas. We work to provide residents with support at an early stage and continuously develop our methods based on research, experience, and residents' needs. We strive for individuals to receive individually tailored support in planning ahead. You and your colleague will have a special focus on families with children and cases not currently active within social services. Your responsibilities include: Outreach work regarding rental debt and disturbances/neglect. Coordination meetings with landlords and conversations with debt collection agencies. Support individuals with rental debt, create action plans, and follow up on these. Participate and support during evictions, close collaboration with the Enforcement Authority. Coordinate internally and externally. Administration related to eviction prevention work. Develop rental advice and housing guidance. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has: A degree in social work or other education that we consider equivalent. It is meritious if you have: Experience with financial assistance and eviction prevention work. Experience with budget and debt counseling. Good knowledge of social services' various areas of responsibility and societal functions such as the Enforcement Authority, debt collection agencies, and housing companies. Experience working in a politically governed organization. As an employee, you are flexible, professional, stable, and well-organized. You are expected to actively participate in development work in the unit to achieve operational goals. Your approach is solution-focused with a strong emphasis on creating good cooperation and work climate. We see that you are responsive and can provide support even in complex situations. Collaboration facilitates your work with individuals, therefore we see that you have an aptitude for building relationships with other units and external partners. Other information The position is filled subject to necessary decisions being made. Working hours are daytime Monday - Friday, but we strive to meet residents' needs and be available outside office hours. You will be scheduled for these occasions.
