We are now seeking two social workers for the investigation unit for children and youth. The positions are:
- A permanent position with start date December 1, 2026 or by agreement.
- A temporary position with start date October 31, 2026 or by agreement, until September 31, 2027.
The Individual and Family business area works to improve the everyday lives of Örnsköldsvik's residents. We are responsible for the social services authority's work with children and adults in need of support and protection. Around our case handlers, there are managers, case coordinators, and other support functions where we work together to provide our residents with the right support at the right time.

Job Responsibilities
As a social worker at the investigation unit for children and youth, you will work together with engaged colleagues. You will be responsible for investigating and following up on services for children, young people, and their families. The unit is divided into teams where you get close collegial contact and support, and you will have the opportunity for both individual supervision and group supervision. We are developing our working methods to become an even more accessible social service. In this work, you now have the opportunity to be involved in shaping working methods and tasks together with your new colleagues.
The possibility of work on standby may occur depending on experience and competence.
Through the initiative "Professional Journey," you as a social worker within children and youth will be offered the opportunity for training within the field during work hours over the years.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who are trained and approved as a social worker. It is meritorious if you have experience with authority work, work according to BBIC, and experience working in Procapita/LifeCare.
