WORK DUTIES
At the adult department, we are responsible for investigating, deciding on, and providing services to adults in social psychiatry, harmful use and addiction, housing, and other services for adult residents. With us, unit managers, social secretaries, treatment educators, and residential support staff, among others, work together to provide our residents with the support they need to live a dignified life and experience well-being in their daily lives.
As a social secretary at the investigation unit for social psychiatry, you work with official authority where you investigate needs and make decisions about various services according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Services for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). Our target group is people with some form of functional variation in psychiatry/neuropsychiatry who need support and help in their daily lives. In addition to contact with the individual, you work closely with colleagues, family members, service providers, and other professionals and authorities.
We are now looking for a colleague with experience in handling cases under SoL and LSS and preferably previous experience investigating the service of personal assistance. As a person, you are a good organizer, structured, responsible, and communicative. You are positive and have an outward-facing approach with good collaboration skills. You collaborate with pleasant and helpful colleagues but also have personal responsibility in your work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a social worker, or has another qualification deemed equivalent, with experience in case handling and interest in our target group. Furthermore, you need to have good knowledge of applicable legislation SoL and LSS and be development-oriented and committed to advancing the activities.
You find it easy to collaborate with both your immediate colleagues and other partners internally and externally. The work requires the ability to plan and independently carry out the tasks that come with the assignment. You must be responsive to other people's needs for support and help.
Experience handling personal assistance cases is a merit, as is experience with investigation and follow-up according to IBIC. You should have good computer skills and be able to express yourself well orally and in writing.
A driver's license is a requirement.
