Read more at timra.se Description Timrå Municipality is seeking a substitute social secretary for the Sustainable Income unit as one of our employees in income support will be on parental leave. The Sustainable Income unit consists of three activities; Income Support, Competence Center, and Competence Center Work Arena. The unit's common purpose is to create conditions and opportunities for the unit's target group to achieve their own sustainable income. The three activities are each led by their unit manager, and all employees cooperate based on the common purpose. In Timrå Municipality, we work according to a management model based on systems thinking with the citizen's needs in focus. We apply a trust-based approach where we have close contact and work in close cooperation with those we meet, as well as in active collaboration with authorities and other important actors that are significant for the opportunity to achieve independent income support. Work Tasks As an implementing social secretary, you take over cases after an investigating social secretary has initially assessed and decided on the household's right to income support. Your task is then to promptly, together with the individual, begin individual planning of measures so that they can achieve their own sustainable income based on legislation on activity requirements. In parallel with this, you are also responsible for continuing to assess and decide on the right to income support. The work involves having much contact with clients, especially initially or during times of change for the client when contact may need to be particularly intensive. To thrive and succeed in the assignment, it is important that you have a genuine interest in people, but also in society at large, as knowledge of other authorities' and actors' regulations is crucial for creating conditions for individuals to achieve independent income. You need to find it easy to both make contacts and develop relationships, and it is important that in your working approach you are goal-oriented, attentive, humble, responsible, and unpretentious. Furthermore, it is important that you like development, are flexible, and comfortable working independently while also appreciating and finding it easy to collaborate with others. In your daily work, you are offered close methodological support through the unit's specialist social workers and unit manager, while the workplace is also characterized by a supportive, collegial spirit where everyone takes shared responsibility and helps each other when needed. Our common starting points in work as a social secretary are that: - People want to be useful and live independently - People can do more than they and their surroundings are often aware of - A sense of coherence is crucial for good health and development Qualifications Education: Social Worker (Socionom) Meritorious: Experience with the Lifecare documentation support system and good knowledge of current legislation. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Terms 1 hour of reflection time is included in working hours. Temporary position for one year. Start date by agreement; selection is ongoing so do not delay submitting your application. For a few security-cleared positions, in addition to requirements for approved security clearance, Swedish citizenship may also be required.
