One of our employees is moving to another position, and we are now seeking a social secretary for our wonderful unit where we provide support to older adults and people with disabilities. The unit is staffed by social secretaries, housing coordinators, and unit managers. In total, the unit consists of approximately 20 employees. Your New Role As a social secretary, you are responsible for investigating, assessing needs, making decisions, and following up on interventions in a legally sound manner according to the Social Services Act, directed toward our seniors. With us, you work individually but also together as a team. We have close management and support from two unit managers and a mentor in the unit. We work with qualified public administration where our approach is a major focus area that is important in our quality work. Working with us means meeting people in their daily lives, in their homes, or in hospitals. We work together on development issues as part of our work in the unit and administration. We use Life Care as our business system and we investigate according to IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus). With us, you have good opportunities for professional development. Your Profile You are a social worker or have other higher education that is assessed as equivalent. You need to have good knowledge of laws and regulations within the field of activity as well as good knowledge of the Office package. For you to thrive with us, we believe that you are skilled at expressing yourself well in speech and writing. The work requires that you have good collaboration skills while also being able to work independently. You also need to be flexible and well-organized. Experience with public administration work within social services can be a merit. You need to have a Category B driver's license. Scope of Employment Full-time Terms of Employment For this role, the starting salary normally ranges between 35,000 - 41,000 kr depending on experience and qualifications.
