About the Position As a social secretary with us, you work with investigations and follow-up on children's and young people's needs for protection and support according to the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act. You work closely with children, young people and their families as well as in close collaboration with colleagues and external partners. The assignment often involves complex issues such as vulnerability, criminality, norm-breaking behavior and honor-related problems. The work is demanding but meaningful and places high demands on professionalism, sound judgment and lawful handling. The child's rights, participation and best interests are always the starting point in our work. We work according to the FAS model, which means that new cases are received collectively every 6 weeks. The model provides continuous time for ongoing investigations and creates structure, overview and better conditions for lawful and sustainable work. The unit participates in various development initiatives. We work with SSPF-teams, SAVRY, EARL and other development measures. We actively work based on the Signs of Safety model combined with a network-oriented approach. This means a clear focus on collaboration with children, families and their networks as well as making both risk and protective factors visible in a structured and transparent way. We are also part of a research project, 4 days week. Working with Us At Children and Youth in Bergsjön, you are offered close and accessible management through two senior social secretaries and an accessible unit manager. You become part of a work group with combined expertise, strong collegial support, access to a social administrator and continuous process supervision. Qualifications We are looking for you who have a degree in social work and experience in public authority work with children and youth (required). It is meritorious if you have experience of other public authority work. A driver's license is required. You are confident in your professional role, have a clear child perspective and work in a structured, independent and lawful manner. You have good collaboration skills, contribute to a good work climate and have good writing skills. You understand the assignment in a politically governed organization and want to be part of developing the social services' approach based on the organization's and residents' needs.
