About the position We are now recruiting a social worker for Children and Youth in the Social Administration Northeast. As a social worker in Children and Youth, you will join a work team of 16 social workers, three senior social workers, and a unit manager. You will handle cases for the target group 0-18 years old according to the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons (Special Provisions) Act. The unit is one of seven other children and youth units. For us, it is important that we perform high-quality social work, and we therefore work with service measurements and a phase system, which provides conditions for reasonable workload and recovery. This, combined with regular supervision and training, provides good conditions for performing the work with good results for those we serve. In the Social Administration Northeast, several working time innovations are currently underway. These include a 4-day week and 6:2, both of which are structured models to allow time for reflection and recovery. We work with several evidence-based methods such as Signs of Safety, EARL, SAVRY, and ERASOR. Training is provided continuously and is linked to our competency development plan. We want to ensure that you receive an introduction that, regardless of your experience in the profession, gives you the conditions to perform your work in accordance with current legislation, procedures, and guidelines at the workplace. The introduction takes place via an introduction coordinator in the administration in collaboration with a senior social worker and the unit manager. Qualifications We are looking for you with a degree in social work, as this is a requirement for the position. It is meritious to have experience with authority work, and especially with authority work in the field of children and youth. Since we work according to the Signs of Safety method, training and knowledge in the method is also meritious. It is meritious if you have a category B driving license. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their own and shared work tasks with the best interests of the operation/clients in focus. You take your tasks seriously, are committed to completing what you have started, and ensure that the work is performed correctly. You are communicative and have the ability to share information and ideas, both verbally and in writing, and have the ability to express the essence of an argument clearly and effectively.
