Your New Role
As a social secretary performing investigations and follow-ups of interventions, you will create the conditions for change with a focus on children's needs and their right to safe upbringing conditions.
In this position, you will work with children and youth aged 0-20 years and their families. You will conduct investigations and follow-ups of interventions according to SoL and LVU, with support from a senior social secretary, unit manager, methods advisor, and administrators. In your cases, you will be the primary handler, and in others, you will be a co-handler. You participate in joint case reviews, supervision, and both give and receive collegial support.
Your Competence
We are looking for someone with a valid and completed social work degree. The tasks require that you hold a category B driving license. We would like you to have experience in qualified investigation work and public authority administration in the field of children and youth. It is also a merit to have knowledge of and previous work with Signs of Safety, BBiC, and MI.
Being a social secretary performing investigations and follow-ups of interventions means creating conditions for change with a focus on children's needs and their right to safe upbringing conditions. In this work, we often meet people in difficult life situations, so it is important that you as a person are secure and stable. You also take own initiative well and have the ability to work independently and make your own decisions. You have a good ability to act and manage situations in complex environments. The work demands flexibility and the ability to reprioritize when needed.
You need good collaboration skills both with the families you meet and with colleagues and cooperation partners. You can see individuals' needs and place them in a holistic perspective. You have administrative competence and can express yourself well in speech and writing.
