The Welfare Administration's task is to help people who, due to age, disability, economic or family problems, need various forms of support and assistance. The Welfare Administration consists of three departments: care and nursing, support, and IFO (individual and family services). The care and nursing department consists of units within elderly care facilities, home services, and municipal primary care. The support department includes LSS services. The IFO department consists of social services, employment unit, social psychiatry, and assistance unit. The Adult Unit Individual and family services consist of several units, of which IFO Adult is one. IFO Adult in turn consists of the substance abuse group and subsistence support group. The substance abuse group has three people: one full-time with treatment, one with a shared position directed toward treatment and authority exercise in harmful substance use, and a third position with responsibility for authority exercise in harmful substance use and social psychiatry. Our colleague working with authority exercise in harmful substance use and social psychiatry is moving on to another position, and we are therefore seeking a new colleague for our unit. Job Description As a social secretary with us, you work primarily with processing applications for services under the Social Services Act (SoL), focusing on people with harmful substance use and addiction as well as social psychiatric needs. The work involves investigating, assessing, making decisions, and following up on interventions. Within social psychiatry, the interventions are residential support, contact person services, and individual occupational activities. In this work, you will have ongoing follow-up with service providers on residential support regarding ongoing interventions. Part of your work duties will also be to support caseworkers and treatment providers for domestic violence when needed. Qualifications We are looking for you who have a degree in social work or other relevant higher education. have documented experience with authority exercise in harmful substance use and addiction. have experience working with change initiatives. have experience with authority exercise in social psychiatry (meritorious).
