The Social Services Department in Örkelljunga municipality consists of social services, elderly care, municipal health and medical care, care for people with disabilities and preventive functions. We are organized into a prevention unit, authority unit and implementation unit. Our guiding principle is teamwork, utilizing the small municipality's strength which is the ability to work closely together in short decision-making chains for an efficient organization and an operations-focused perspective. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a social worker in harmful use and addiction and domestic violence, you work with authority responsibilities according to SoL and LVM. You meet adults in vulnerable life situations, investigate needs for support and protection, and make decisions on interventions. The assignment includes handling applications and concern reports, following up on interventions and working together with the individual to achieve the best possible solution and sustainable change. You are also responsible for documenting work in a legally secure manner and for ensuring that the handling is conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, guidelines and knowledge support. A central part of the work is to motivate change and to identify resources, opportunities and ways forward together with the individual. We therefore see that you have a strong ability to establish contact and create alliance with people in vulnerable situations. You have a professional, open and non-judgmental approach regarding background, culture and group affiliations. You dare to ask the difficult questions in a respectful way while being attentive to the individual's needs and understanding of their situation. As a social worker in harmful use and addiction and domestic violence, you become part of a team with social workers in children and youth as well as a unit manager, who support each other in both difficult and important decisions and who gladly go the extra mile for both municipality residents and colleagues. You also have close collaboration with outpatient care which is located within the same department. This provides short decision-making paths, good cooperation and better conditions for creating sustainable solutions together with the individuals we meet. QUALIFICATIONS The position involves a high degree of independence and personal responsibility. You need to be driven and have the ability to plan, organize and prioritize your work yourself as well as take responsibility for moving cases forward. You need to be able to adapt, prioritize and quickly switch between different types of work tasks when the situation requires it. At the same time, the independent role provides great opportunities to influence how work is planned and carried out. You therefore need to be comfortable with freedom within responsibility and appreciate the opportunity to structure your working day yourself based on the organization's and individuals' needs. In Örkelljunga municipality, we apply individual and equal pay setting. This position has a salary range between 35-47000 kr/month, depending on experience, competence and market conditions.
