The Unit for Persons with Disabilities and Adults is now seeking a new team member in the field of addiction and risk substance use. We have a major responsibility within Lidingö Municipality where we serve target groups including persons with disabilities, social psychiatry, and addiction. In addition to case managers, the work team consists of a unit manager, two assistant unit managers, and an agreements and housing coordinator. Collegial support is important to us. We strive for close collaboration across the entire unit as well as with other internal and external partners. We work in modern facilities in the form of an activity-based office landscape in Lidingö City Hall. City Hall is located in Lidingö center with good public transport connections by bus from Ropsten. Lidingö Municipality offers the opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week if work allows. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The position involves exercising public authority within the field and primarily encompasses investigation, assessment, decision-making, and follow-up of interventions for the target group. Work is conducted according to applicable legislation within the operational area, primarily the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Care of Substance Abusers in Certain Cases (LVM). The role demands high levels of collaboration with both internal and external service providers as well as other collaboration partners. Since the target group's needs and the operational conditions may change over time, you need to thrive in a changing environment and have a strong ability to adapt to new circumstances. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • Is educated as a social worker (socionom) • Has good knowledge of applicable legislation within the addiction field (SoL and LVM) and at least one year of experience in exercising public authority • Has a strong ability to think innovatively in your work with the client group • Has high flexibility as our work is constantly changing and is centered on the individual • Has a strong ability to collaborate with both internal and external partners. We also see that you are interested in and want to work with this target group • Are curious, thorough, and organized Merits • Experience working with the target group, training in MI conversation methodology and ASI assessment methodology Employment Type: Permanent employment. The municipality applies individual salary setting. Start date by agreement. The position may potentially begin with a six-month probationary period.
