The Social Services Department is responsible for services, support, and assistance to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments, and the Health and Medical Care Act, and must implement services regulated by these laws. All operations are centered on the individual to meet their needs. The assignment involves strong customer focus and service orientation.
At Individual and Family Care, administrative matters are handled within various areas of social services. We also offer open services for adults, children, and families. We are a workplace with approximately 180 employees, both men and women of varying ages and years of experience in the field. We strive for a workplace with legally sound case handling for our clients/users and a good working environment for our employees.

DUTIES
Recruit, investigate, and follow up on foster families, contact families, contact persons, HVB homes, and other contractors within SoL, LVU, LVM, and LSS. Provide individual supervision to contractors and conduct joint training sessions. Some evening and weekend work may occur. Participate in quality and methodology development. Collaborate with internal and external parties and other tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Social work degree or equivalent as assessed by the employer.
Driver's license
Experience in supervising contractors.
Knowledge of social law and the Social Services Act.

You take active initiative in social settings, step forward, and have an easy time creating new relationships and maintaining them.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: January 1, 2027 or by agreement.
Working hours: Office hours with flexible agreement. Evening and weekend work may occur.
