The workplace offers 35 hours per week and the possibility of remote work 1 day/week. Today, Individual and Family Care consists of one operations manager, two unit managers, three team leaders within each team, and a reception. The teams consist of: • Adult Unit (Financial Assistance, Elderly and Disability Care, Adult) • Child/Youth (Child Investigator, Foster Family Secretary, Case Handler, Child Coordinator) • Reception/First Line (Reception, Open Care, Support and Treatment, Administration, Services Without Needs Assessment) 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a social secretary in the Child and Youth unit, you work in various ways to ensure that all children in the municipality have it good and grow up in safe conditions. Work as a social secretary is varied and meaningful. As a social secretary, you work with children, young people, and their families in need of support and protection, with the aim of finding sustainable solutions. You conduct investigations according to the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons (Special Provisions) Act, as well as follow-up of granted services of a shorter nature. Investigations and follow-ups are conducted according to the Children's Needs in Focus method, based on applicable legislation and Vingåker municipality's guidelines. The team has close cooperation with the other teams in the unit. Our work climate is permissive with high ceilings and the atmosphere is relaxed and easy-going with lots of laughter. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a social worker and wants to contribute to good interactions with children and young people as well as their families. Experience in government work, good knowledge of the Children's Needs in Focus method, thorough knowledge of the Social Services Act, and good documentation skills are merits. You are structured and enjoy collaborating, but also have the ability to work independently. You have knowledge of children's needs and are passionate about contributing to good and quality work. Travel and home visits are part of the job, so you need to have a Class B driver's license for manual transmission.
