The Children, Youth and Families work area is part of the Care and Social Services Administration, which is one of six administrations in Lidingö Municipality. Within the administration, approximately 800 employees work to provide support to the municipality's residents through different stages of life. Our work includes individual and family care, social psychiatry, support for people with disabilities, and elderly care. Lidingö Municipality invests in social services' work with children, youth and families. We conduct extensive development work with the goal of creating an even more modern, preventive and accessible social service where the child's best interests are always at the center. Now we are looking for a social secretary for our investigation team! The children, youth and families work area consists of two units with several specialized work groups: • Reception and Investigation Unit for Children, Youth and Families • Support Services and Foster Care Unit In addition to this, we have our own outpatient operations that offer support and services to children, young people and their families. With us, we always start from the individual's needs and work together to create security, participation and sustainable solutions for those we are here for. 1 position(s). WORK RESPONSIBILITIES As a social secretary in the investigation team, you are responsible for investigating children and young people's need for protection, support and care. The work involves close collaboration with the reception, family support, and support services and foster care work groups. You also cooperate with other units and administrations within the municipality, as well as with external actors, to ensure that children, young people and families receive coordinated and appropriate support. In the unit, we work based on a solution-focused and participation-promoting approach inspired by Signs of Safety. Motivational interviewing (MI) is an important foundation in our work. For new employees, we offer training in these methods and approaches if needed. As part of our development work, we use a Swedish AI service that is specially developed for the public sector, including social services. The tool functions as a digital assistant and aims to streamline administrative tasks and documentation. The operation is currently participating in a pilot project within Children, Youth and Families to investigate how AI can help facilitate case management work. Our ambition is to reduce the administrative burden and create more space for what is most important in our mission: the meeting with children, young people and their families. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are trained as a social worker and have experience with public administration within the children, youth and family field. You express yourself well in both speech and writing. If you have experience with Signs of Safety and knowledge of the investigation methodology BBIC (child's needs in focus), we see that as an asset. As a person, you have great commitment to social work and are driven by making a difference for our children, young people and families. You are initiative-taking, responsible and work independently to drive processes forward. You are solution-focused, professional and confident in your professional role and have a good ability to create trustful relationships and collaborate with others. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent. The municipality applies individual salary setting. Start date is by agreement and a probationary period may be applied. For this position, you must present an extract from the criminal record register before employment. This is an important part of our work to strengthen the protection of children and young people. The extract is ordered via the Police website and shown to the recruiting manager before an employment offer is given. Lidingö Municipality works with competence-based recruitment so that each person is assessed based on their competence and we counteract discrimination. In preparation for the recruitment process, Lidingö Municipality has taken a position on recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore decline contact with media sales representatives, recruitment sites and similar.
