Description We are seeking a social worker for Adult Unit 2, housing with support. Social Administration Nordost has five adult units working with people from 18 years old. We have a reception unit that receives and distributes cases to the other investigation units, where Adult Unit 2 is included. Additionally, we have a unit with various implementation resources. The basis for all of us is the Social Services Act as well as politically established goals. Our work is characterized by intensive collaboration with other units within the social administration as well as with external parties such as functional support services, elderly care, healthcare, and others. Work Tasks You will work with investigations of housing with support for people who do not have harmful substance abuse or addiction, but other social issues. The support can take various forms depending on the need for intervention. The work involves the exercise of authority with requirements for legal certainty, a common approach, and equivalent assessments. Using your knowledge and good interpersonal skills, you must ensure that the individuals we meet receive the help and support they need to live as independently as possible based on their own circumstances. You will meet with clients, investigate applications, make decisions, and follow up on interventions. Adult Unit 2 is also responsible for investigating violence in close relationships, following up on the measure of municipal contracts, and working as an authority to prevent evictions. Overall, we are 22 people, including three senior social workers and one unit manager. You will be offered continuous methodological supervision by a senior social worker, where your own team is an important part, as well as process supervision. Working according to MI is prioritized in the unit and staff are offered training in it. Our office is located at Hjällbo Lillgata 1, where Adult Unit 1, the Resource Unit, Subsistence Support, and Children and Youth also have their offices. Most have their own large office room, and there is always an opportunity to work undisturbed. We have flexible hours and the possibility of working from home 1-2 days per week. Qualifications You have a degree in social work or other education deemed equivalent. It is very important that you are well familiar with the legislation and other regulations governing the activities. A driver's license and driving experience are required. We consider it advantageous if you have experience in the exercise of authority with investigations, assessments, and implementation of decisions, as well as if you have interest and experience working with people with various needs to manage and maintain their housing. It is also advantageous if you have knowledge of mental health issues, functional disabilities, and addiction, as well as investigation experience.
