The Child and Youth Department is in an exciting development phase where we are investing in strengthening and expanding our open-care services. In line with the new social services act, we want to create a more accessible, preventive, and attractive social service that meets residents' needs in an early and flexible way. The changes we are making include offering more services without prior needs assessment, which we hope will allow us to reach even more families with our services. Your Tasks With us, children's need for protection, security, and good living conditions is always our guiding principle. At the same time, we respect people's self-determination, participation, and influence over their lives and the services we offer. To strengthen this approach, we use methods such as Signs of Safety (SofS), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT). As a manager, it is particularly exciting to recruit to a growing and developing operation. We are now looking for you to help shape the future of open-care services together with us. We are seeking social counselors for both the early intervention team and the team working on behalf of the authorities. Perhaps you work today as a family therapist and want to be part of our development journey? Or you have experience from other organizations where you have supported people toward positive change and are now seeking new challenges. If you share our ambition to create an accessible, flexible, responsive, engaging, and professional social service, we look forward to your application. Your tasks include, among other things: Implementing support and treatment services for children, adolescents, and families. Working on change processes based on Signs of Safety (SofS), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT). Collaborating with social workers and other stakeholders regarding families' needs and services. Contributing to the development of open-care service approaches and interventions. We offer a workplace where development, learning, and collegial support are natural parts of everyday work. Through cooperation with Halmstad University, there are opportunities to contribute to social worker education and participate in current research and knowledge development. You will receive regular external supervision and work in an operation that actively uses FIT to develop the quality of services. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Requirements Social Work degree or other higher education that the employer deems equivalent. Experience in treatment work. Class B driver's license. Meritorious Step 1 training in family therapy. To succeed and thrive in the role, you need to be confident in your profession and have a genuine interest in creating positive changes for children, adolescents, and families. You are skilled at networking and building trustful relationships both within and outside your own organization. By creating and maintaining professional contacts, you contribute to good collaboration and a holistic perspective on families' needs. You use transparent communication by expressing yourself clearly, openly, and respectfully. You share relevant information, create participation, and help both families and partners feel informed and involved. The role requires good problem-solving skills. You can analyze complex situations, see different perspectives, and identify solutions that move the work forward, even when circumstances change. You have a planned and structured working approach that helps you prioritize, organize, and follow up on your tasks in a way that ensures quality and continuity for the families you meet. At the same time, you maintain high integrity. You act professionally, stand by decisions made, and handle sensitive situations with judgment and respect for both the individual and the assignment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. What We Offer You With us, you will have meaningful work where you contribute daily to strengthening children, young people, and families. We offer: Accessible and present managers. A thoughtful introduction that gives you good conditions to begin your assignment. Regular external supervision.
