Lindeskolan is a newly established school that started in the fall of 2020 with preschool class. The school, located in Enskede gård, is growing from the ground up and this school year we have activities for approximately 360 students from preschool class through grade 6. We are approximately 50 employees. As a newly established school, we have the privilege of building a school from the ground up. Our starting point is to create a family-like atmosphere where we together take responsibility for a good and pleasant school environment where knowledge and joyful learning are important building blocks. We have a relational and norm-conscious approach. For us, it is important that our students feel safe and joy when they are in our activities. Here all staff work closely together. Our teaching is characterized by structure, clarity and predictability. At Lindeskolan, we have flexible teaching groups where the grade-level team works closely around the students. We apply dual mentoring, which means each student has a teaching-responsible mentor and an afterschool-responsible mentor. We have a holistic view of teaching, learning and care. Your role Since our social pedagogue is on parental leave, we are now looking for a substitute social pedagogue who is engaged, driven and wants to make a difference for our students. The temporary position is valid until the turn of the year with the possibility of extension. You have a clear focus on students and put student needs at the center. You will work closely with individual students to give them the conditions to manage the school day. It is important that you are flexible as you will meet students with different needs and conditions. You will work closely with the school's counselor. Your work tasks include • being a support and sense of security for students during lessons, during transitions and breaks • building good relationships with students • working with students in our specialized teaching group • being involved in break activities and conflict management • working with activities during afterschool in the afternoon Your competence and experience It is important that you are responsible and have very good collaboration skills and are flexible, relationship-building, responsive and empathetic. Every day is different and therefore you need to be able to adapt to new conditions. You enjoy sharing your experience and knowledge and are at the same time open to new ways of working. Qualifications • Educated social pedagogue, social worker or equivalent competence • Experience working in a school • Experience working with children and youth with social problems Meritorious • Experience working with children with problematic school absenteeism • Experience working with children with neuropsychiatric functional variations • Experience working with children with mental health issues We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
