Social Worker
Workplace: Employment Office of the Czech Republic, Regional Branch in Plzeň

Main Scope of Work:
Conducting targeted social investigations for persons in difficult social situations, analyzing their circumstances, and providing follow-up social counseling to address them. Receiving applications, focusing on care allowance matters, maintaining applicants' documentation, and completing investigations to support administrative proceedings. Other administrative activities in the area of non-insurance social benefits.
Qualifications and Other Requirements:
Minimum bachelor's degree program – qualifications according to Act No. 108/2006 Coll., on Social Services (in fields of education focused on social work and social pedagogy, social pedagogy, social and humanitarian work, social work, social and legal activities, charitable and social activities, social care, social pathology, law, or special pedagogy)
Knowledge of Administrative Code No. 500/2004 Coll.
Very good user knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
Experience in public administration is advantageous
Category B driving license
Work with people, communication skills, professional conduct, assertive behavior, emotional resilience, independence, attention to detail, thoroughness, flexibility and reliability, legal capacity, clean criminal record, health fitness
Working Conditions:
Salary classification in the 11th salary grade in accordance with applicable legal regulations; possibility of personal bonus after probation period
Flexible working hours – full-time employment
Expected start date: October 2026
Employment contract for a definite period for the duration of maternity and parental leave with a probation period of 6 months (determined in accordance with § 178 par. 3 of the Act on Civil Service, as amended)
