We are looking for a colleague to join our social rehabilitation team, which helps adults navigate situations related to housing. Our clients come with diverse life stories – some are seeking a way out of housing insecurity, others need support in maintaining their housing or navigating the social services system.
We work both in our office and in the field, provide social counseling, and operate a day center for people experiencing homelessness. Every day is different and brings new challenges and opportunities to see tangible results from your work.
What awaits you?
• Individual work with clients in difficult social situations,
• Social counseling in the area of housing and related topics,
• Support for clients in finding and maintaining housing,
• Accompanying clients to offices and meetings with institutions,
• Field work and outreach to people in need of assistance,
• Collaboration with other organizations and institutions,
• Maintaining documentation according to social services standards.
Who are we looking for?
• Someone who finds meaning in supporting people in difficult life situations,
• A social worker meeting qualification requirements under § 110 of Law No. 108/2006 Coll., i.e., completed higher professional education in a social field or university degree in a social area,
• Someone with a clean criminal record, with PC skills,
• An independent, reliable, and communicative person capable of working in a team,
• Someone who is not afraid of field work or contact with people in crisis,
• Experience in the area of housing, debt, social exclusion, or work with homeless people is an advantage.
