(Registration No. 90000039319) Rīgas sociālās aprūpes centrs "Gaiļezers" (hereinafter – the Center) announces an open-ended position competition for a Social Rehabilitator (profession code: 3412 02) in the Social Work Department Position Objective: Preservation and development of social functioning and social activity of the Center's clients, including organization and facilitation of leisure time activities. Requirements: ● First-level professional higher education in the field of social rehabilitation ● Experience working with elderly persons and persons with disabilities for at least one year ● Knowledge of the State language in accordance with requirements established in regulatory acts (C1 level) ● Good computer skills (Software: MS Office, APSIS, SOPA, ELISS) and office equipment operation ● Independence in task execution and ability to organize one's own work ● Knowledge of regulatory acts governing social affairs and ability to apply them in practice ● Understanding of professional ethics, high standards of interpersonal communication, sense of responsibility, and excellent communication skills ● Good skills in information and communication technologies, including proficient user-level computer experience Main Job Responsibilities: ● Ensure social rehabilitation activities and leisure time activities in accordance with the Center's clients' needs and expressed wishes ● Conduct initial and repeated client situation assessments in accordance with competence and timeframes established in regulatory acts ● Participate in interdisciplinary team work ● Participate in developing individual social rehabilitation plans for clients ● Organize and lead creative workshops, interest clubs and cognitive classes, book and magazine exchanges, singing classes and other leisure activities and events, including recreation and cultural events, for Center clients in the Center's premises, territory, and outside the Center ● Motivate clients to participate in classes and attend events ● Promote preservation and improvement of clients' social and life skills ● Conduct individual social rehabilitation work with clients in accordance with requirements specified in the social rehabilitation and/or social care plan ● Maintain client records, including electronic records, using the electronic planning system APSIS, in accordance with competence ● Provide information and reports on the Center's clients' social rehabilitation and leisure time activity plan implementation in accordance with the Department Vice-Director's instructions and/or as established in internal regulatory acts ● Participate in conducting client surveys and compiling results ● Provide information to the Department Vice-Director about necessary materials for activity provision ● Provide suggestions for developing the Center's internal regulatory acts in accordance with competence ● Perform other tasks that do not conflict with the position's competence We Offer: ● Stable salary and social guarantees ● Modern work environment and good working conditions ● Health insurance policy ● Salary – 1205 EUR (before tax) Candidates must submit applications to Rīgas sociālās aprūpes centrs "Gaiļezers" by 21.09.2026 at 17:00: Rīga, Hipokrāta iela 6, LV-1079; e-mail: [email protected] with the reference "Social Rehabilitator position (open-ended) competition": ● Motivation letter ● Professional CV ● Copy of document certifying education Contact phone numbers for additional information on recruitment matters: 67012227 and for specific questions related to the vacancy: 67012229.
