The offered position – social rehabilitation specialist at the Specialized Workshops of Ogres Municipality Social Service.
Main job duties:
provide clients with information, determine each client's social skills level and social activities level, social functioning abilities;
develop and implement social rehabilitation plans for Specialized Workshops clients whose inclusion in society is difficult due to various social, psychological, and physical disabilities;
identify and provide clients with the necessary support for acquiring, improving, and maintaining social skills;
motivate clients to participate in Specialized Workshops activities, respecting client needs and wishes;
work with individuals and groups in the social rehabilitation process;
facilitate clients' social skills acquisition, improvement, and maintenance, including developing new skills and competencies, improving client self-care abilities, hygiene and social skills;
foster clients' interest, desire, and will to live independently and fully, and to integrate into society;
in the rehabilitation field, stabilize, restore, or improve a person's ability to overcome psychological, physical, and other obstacles to integration into society;
supervise clients in their activities at the Specialized Workshops;
assess the results of provided social rehabilitation services and develop suggestions for their improvement.
Requirements for candidates:
- first-level higher education, social rehabilitation specialist qualification;
- ability to work in a team;
- good knowledge of Latvian language;
- ability to independently plan and organize your work, make decisions;
- ability to forecast and assess the potential impact of decisions;
- office technology skills, user-level proficiency in MS Office programs;
