Jelgavas novada Sociālās aprūpes un rehabilitācijas centrs "Eleja" announces a competition for a vacant position: Social Worker Primary Responsibilities: identification and definition of social problems; social case intervention, forecasting and resolution of social problems, implementation of preventive measures; identify and mobilize necessary resources in resolving social cases, in accordance with the specifics of social work in various practice areas; maintain and update client files, and make regular necessary entries; provide recommendations for improvement of social work, social rehabilitation and care. Requirements for Candidates: second-level professional higher or academic education in social work or charitable social work; ability to apply normative acts; good skills in working with MS Office programs; ability to work in a team; ability to communicate with people; desirable work experience in social work; desirable Category B driver's license.
