Talsu novada Social Service (registration no. 90009113532) announces an open competition for a Social Worker position in the Support Department for work with adults in Vandzenes and Laidzes parishes profession code according to classifier 2635 01 Talsu novada Social Service invites a social worker to join our team to conduct social work with adults. Duties: assess and determine the specific social needs of the client, types of social problems, their causes, as well as dysfunctions in the functioning of social systems; organize the involvement of social resource systems in resolving social problems of the client or defined target groups; develop interprofessional and inter-institutional cooperation based on client needs; provide clients with individual consultations on social, legal and other matters within the scope of the position; work with the municipal social assistance and social services administration application (SOPA). Requirements: first-cycle higher education in social work or charitable social work, or be a student of the respective study program who has completed at least 120 credit points in a full-time program or at least 108 credit points in a part-time program, or second-cycle higher education in social work or charitable social work, or be a student of the respective study program who has completed at least 60 credit points in a full-time program or at least 54 credit points in a part-time program, or have started studies in a social work or charitable social work study program; good skills in social case management, preparation of social rehabilitation plans, general knowledge of applicable legal acts within the scope of competence; state language proficiency at the advanced level in accordance with the requirements of the State Language Law; good computer skills, information systems and software proficiency, and other office equipment operation; high sense of responsibility, creativity, psychological resilience, accuracy, good communication skills and ability to resolve conflict situations; good communication and conflict resolution skills, ability to work in a team and collaborate; ability and experience working with computer programs (MS Word, MS Excel), email and office equipment, and ability to use legal material databases; ability to work under increased stress conditions, organize your work in accordance with set deadlines; Category B driver's license.
