Personal Assistant – Hourly Substitute (Female Assistance) – Immediate Start We are looking for a calm, reliable, and down-to-earth personal assistant in middle age who can work as an hourly substitute to cover for regular staff absences. The role involves stepping in as needed, both with short notice and with some planning, and the work is structured around 24-hour shifts, which means responsibility and presence over extended periods. Currently, there is a shift to cover this coming weekend, which means that employment and orientation will need to happen quickly for the person recruited. It is therefore important that you can begin orientation and deliver required documents promptly — in particular, a criminal records clearance must be submitted the same day as the employment offer for the employment to be finalized. The work involves providing individualized support in daily activities with a focus on safety, respect, and preservation of the user's dignity. You will work closely with the user, a woman in her 50s; at her own request, only female assistants are sought. The assignment requires you to take initiative in practical situations, plan your time during 24-hour shifts, and simultaneously be responsive to the user's needs, mood, and any psychological challenges. Experience as a personal assistant, support assistant, or work in psychiatry is a merit as it provides a good foundation for understanding and responding to individual-specific needs. We value personality highly; your ability to create a sense of safety, maintain routines, handle stressful situations, and communicate clearly with both the user and regular staff is crucial. As an hourly substitute, you are also expected to be able to document services according to established procedures, collaborate during handovers, and when necessary, handle acute situations in a calm and structured manner. You should be prepared for varying tasks including personal care, medication handling according to instructions, support with social activities, and assistance with practical tasks. Orientation and training happen quickly and in a structured way upon employment, and you will receive the necessary information about procedures needed to ensure continuity of care. Experience and Qualifications Experience as a personal assistant or equivalent is a merit. Experience or training in psychiatry is particularly meritorious.
