The Rehabilitation Medicine Pain Clinic is an outpatient facility offering comprehensive pain analysis, biopsychosocial assessment, and pain management for patients with chronic non-malignant pain. We primarily serve working-age patients with severe or complex pain.
Our pain teams provide advanced biopsychosocial assessments for working-age patients with chronic non-malignant pain. Based on these assessments, we develop rehabilitation plans and determine the need for multiprofessional pain rehabilitation interventions. We work in teams consisting of an occupational therapist, physiotherapist, social worker, physician, medical administrative assistant, psychologist, and nurse.
We are undertaking a development initiative aimed at offering more highly specialized care.
Job Responsibilities
Assessing and treating patients according to our mandate, as well as educating patients and staff. Participation in multidisciplinary conferences with adjacent clinics. Supervision of trainee physicians and medical students. Active participation in our continuous improvement and development work. Depending on your specialty and experience, your position will be divided between our Rehabilitation Medicine Pain Clinic and our pain teams.
Qualifications
Primarily, a specialist certification in anesthesia and intensive care, rehabilitation medicine, or pain management, though other specialties deemed relevant by the employer may be considered. You should value teamwork and be able to collaborate without ego. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

About the Organization
The Neurocentrum operational area is a broad facility consisting of outpatient clinics in neurology, neurosurgery, neurophysiology, and rehabilitation medicine, as well as inpatient wards. We focus on developing care pathways for our patient groups through close collaboration between different professions and across specialty boundaries, both internally at the clinic and externally in the region. Education and research are conducted in cooperation with Örebro University.
