The position involves performing the following activities in particular: Conducting independent state health supervision of healthcare providers and social services facilities, including taking samples for laboratory testing or analysis, processing inspection reports, imposing measures within the scope of supervisory activities and proposing resolution of inspection findings, Conducting epidemiological investigations, proposing anti-epidemic measures and monitoring their compliance, Conducting epidemiological surveillance of individual infectious diseases, Preparing supporting documents for issuing opinions of the public health protection authority as the relevant administrative authority in decision-making matters governed by special legal regulations, particularly building regulations, Fulfilling tasks of the public health protection authority as the relevant administrative authority in local investigations, Participating in health risk assessment pursuant to the public health protection act within the scope of activities performed, Conducting proceedings and making decisions on misdemeanors within the scope of internal management regulations, Participating in addressing public inquiries, requests from state administration and self-government bodies in the field of epidemiology, handling information requests, complaints and petitions, Preparing supporting documents for issuing decisions, permits, certificates and other measures of public health protection authorities or issuing within the scope of established competencies, Ensuring data processing in information registers for public health protection and support used by the anti-epidemic department, Performing other similar activities within organizational assignment and the established scope of service.
