As a security guard in Service Security at Ringhals, you will play a central role in maintaining safety, order, and professional conduct in an operation of great importance to society. About Us The Facility Protection and Security unit works to protect the facility against unauthorized access, sabotage, or other impacts that could result in radiological accidents or unlawful handling of nuclear materials or nuclear waste. The unit has significant operational activities and works closely with the entire organization and external authorities. The unit's mission is to maintain physical security and create a sense of safety. We are now seeking two new security guards for the Service Security group, an operation that works daytime hours and has many contact points within the facility. Here, security work is combined with service, communication, and active responsibility in daily operations. About the Job As a security guard in Service Security, you work with the daily physical protection of the facility. You have an operational role where, through presence, inspections, and preventive security work, you contribute to protecting the facility against unauthorized access and other security threats. Your duties are varied and include, among other things, verifying authorization and access, conducting security checks of people and items, and inspecting vehicles, transports, and deliveries. You are also responsible for maintaining security in the facility's traffic environment and handling ongoing situations that arise in daily operations. As a security guard in Service Security, you get a varied day where you make a concrete difference for the facility's security—every day. Requirements About You You thrive in a role with many contact points and have an easy time meeting employees, contractors, visitors, and other stakeholders in a professional and service-oriented manner. At the same time, you have a clear focus on security. The work requires good judgment, attention, and the ability to act calmly and correctly even when conditions change rapidly. You work both independently and together with colleagues and actively contribute to maintaining a safe, secure, and well-functioning facility. We are Looking for Someone Who: Has completed upper secondary education Is a trained security guard and has previous experience working as a security guard Has good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, primarily spoken Holds a category B driving license Has good personal maturity and a professional demeanor It is an advantage if you: Have experience from other security or protection operations Have held informal responsibility for colleagues or shown potential to take on greater responsibility in the operation Have experience handling conflicts or situations where clarity and courage are essential We also believe you take initiative and act when the situation requires it. You are comfortable handling matters that may be uncomfortable but necessary.
