Job Description
As a security guard, your main task is to deliver safety at our customers' locations. You do this, for example, in a monitoring center or at an access control checkpoint. As a security guard, you have greater authority than a guard and often work in close collaboration with our customers' personnel at facilities that are of critical importance to Sweden's security.
The work is independent and often feels free, but with great responsibility.
Your tasks vary widely and as a security guard you can work both indoors and outdoors, nights or days. Shift lengths vary, but are often arranged in 12-hour shifts. Since we operate every day of the year, it is common to work every other weekend.

You will, for example:
Staff monitoring and command centers
Ensure that unauthorized persons do not have access to facilities
Conduct internal and external inspections
Handle vehicle searches

Requirements
Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school
Good knowledge of English
Class B driver's license
Passed security vetting interview (conducted by Securitas)
Meritorious if you
are a trained security guard with valid approval or are trained as a guard at least VU2
have relevant training for the assignment
have longer work experience
have weapons training

For employment at Securitas Sverige AB, you must have approved grades from upper secondary school in Swedish and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, security vetting according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check is performed. The assessment concerns lawfulness, suitability, reliability, loyalty and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from, for example, yourself, open sources, or authorities. Salary and employment terms are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
