We are now recruiting exam invigilators
Södertörn University's central examination coordination provides professional exam management that works for student rights and equal treatment during written examinations.
The exam invigilators' task is to provide students with the best possible conditions to complete written examinations. You contribute to ensuring that examinations are conducted fairly and that Södertörn University's examination regulations are followed.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct ID checks on all students taking written exams
Ensure students have access to the exam – for paper-based exams, you distribute the papers in the examination hall, and for digital exams, you guide students through the system
Supervise the examination by ensuring rules are followed, checking for unauthorized aids, and overseeing examination hall restrooms
Move actively around the hall during the entire examination to maintain order and reduce the risk of cheating
Collect completed exams when the examination is finished
In addition to this, work tasks may also include preparations for upcoming examination sessions.
Qualifications
You are not a student at Södertörn University
You speak and understand Swedish and English
You are service-oriented and have good collaborative skills
You have good computer proficiency and the ability to learn new digital tools
Ability to move actively around the examination hall
Previous experience as an exam invigilator for at least six months
You must have experience in the role of room coordinator/responsible exam invigilator in Inspera
You must have successful experience supervising colleagues and have taken responsibility for a written examination session
Other Information
