About the operation
The Forensic Psychiatric Clinic in Säter provides specialized care and treatment for patients who have been committed to forensic psychiatric care by court order. The clinic has a regional mandate and offers highly specialized forensic psychiatric care for patients.
Operations are characterized by a structured and multidisciplinary approach where different professional competencies collaborate to create safety, continuity, and quality care. Care is provided in a security-conscious environment where treatment, nursing care, treatment, and risk assessment are important parts of daily work.

Job responsibilities
We are now seeking several caregivers for departments 30 and 31 in forensic psychiatry. With us, you'll work in a specialized care environment where structure, safety, and professional treatment are central to daily operations. Department 31 is an admission unit, while department 30 is a reinforcement unit that receives patients with deteriorated mental health, both in the early stages of forensic psychiatric care and when the need for care and support is greater.
As a caregiver, you work closely with patients and have an important role in daily nursing care. Work includes supportive conversations, helping patients maintain daily routines, and contributing to good health and safety during hospitalization.
Job responsibilities also include creating opportunities for patients to participate in activities and providing practical support in everyday life, for example during meals and other daily needs that may be difficult to manage in a locked care environment.
You become part of the care chain closest to the patient and contribute with colleagues to safe, structured, and professional forensic psychiatric care.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with good teamwork abilities who enjoys working in a team, where the patient is seen as a natural and active part of care. You have a genuine interest in people and want to contribute to care and treatment efforts that create safety, structure, and development for patients.
Meritorious:
Degree from the Care and Health Program, vocational education as caregiver in psychiatric operations, 400 points, or other relevant education that the employer deems equivalent
Experience in psychiatric work
