The Education Department is responsible for preschools, primary schools, after-school centers, upper secondary school, adult education, and student health services. Approximately 1,100 employees work here who together create a safe and developmental school and childcare environment. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for a custodian to work 100%. The position is divided between Källan School, Källan Preschool, Abrahamslunds Preschool, Kosmos Preschool, and VUX. A school custodian works with supervision, maintenance, and care of materials at the preschool and school, both indoors and outdoors, so that the children's and students' environment maintains a high pedagogical work environment. School custodian's main responsibilities: • daily supervision of the external and internal environment including remedial work • sorting and organization at the recycling station • emptying paper bins in outdoor areas • submitting maintenance requests according to procedures • filing police reports according to school and preschool procedures • documenting and addressing sabotage, graffiti, and other damage to school and preschool property • providing service to the unit's operations, such as receiving contractors and other visitors • serving as the school's and preschool's contact with the property owner QUALIFICATIONS Are you a practical problem-solver who likes to get things working and prefers to stay one step ahead? We're looking for a school custodian who wants to be an important part of the school's daily operations. To fit the role, it's important that you enjoy working in an environment where you meet both students and staff during your workday. You therefore need to be calm, stable, and have a professional demeanor. A school custodian has daily contact with children, students, staff, and guardians and should have good knowledge of the preschool's and school's mission and responsibilities. We're looking for someone with upper secondary education or relevant work experience for this position. You need to have good computer skills and feel comfortable with digital tools. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-11-30. Working hours: Daytime.
