We are an F-9 school with 560 wonderful students. The school is located approximately 3 km from the city center, with good bus connections and ample parking near the school. Skiftingehus has undergone extensive renovation and the school now boasts bright, newly renovated, and fit-for-purpose facilities. The school nurses' office is well-adapted to the profession and located close to both the school counselor and school psychologist.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
As a school nurse, you contribute medical expertise to support educational work and student health initiatives. You work proactively and preventively on health-related matters and offer our students health visits and vaccinations according to an annual schedule. You build relationships with both students and guardians. You are part of our student health team, which also includes a counselor, school psychologist, study and career advisor, and special educator. Our student health services are well-functioning and have done good work in increasing safety and attendance at school.
As a new member of our team, you will receive introduction and onboarding from a school nurse colleague. In this role, you have support from a school physician and Medical Student Health. You have the opportunity for knowledge exchange and contact with other school nurses through the network group you participate in. You will also participate in shared professional development organized by Medical Student Health, and there is an opportunity for group supervision with school nurse colleagues at other schools.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a registered nurse with further education as a school nurse/school health care, district nurse, or health and nursing care for children/youth. It is advantageous if you have experience working with children/youth, preferably in the role of school nurse.
You have an understanding of our students' differences and the ability to meet them based on situation and their personality. You can independently manage your planning and your areas of responsibility. We also value good collaboration skills with various functions in the organization to provide students with the best possible support. You actively participate in various collaborations and we welcome you taking the initiative for preventive measures.
