Karlstads Globala Gymnasium is an independent upper secondary school operated by the non-profit association Medborgarskolan Mitt. The school offers four college preparatory programs in economics, natural sciences, social sciences, and engineering sciences. The school has approximately 400 students. Karlstads Globala Gymnasium views its most important tasks as delivering high-quality education and offering its staff the best possible work environment. Operating as a "non-profit" means the school can allocate significant resources to staff and students. We are now seeking a school nurse at 50 percent full-time. This is a permanent position with a start date by agreement. The duties involve health promotion and prevention work. You will conduct health conversations with all first-year students, follow up and guide students further in the healthcare system if needed. Additionally, you will independently run an open clinic with drop-in services. We welcome you moving around the school premises and building relationships with the students. You work independently and it is important that you are confident in making your own assessments. Requirements for the employee: Licensed with at least 3 years of experience. Additional advantage if you are a specialist nurse in district, child and youth health, or have school nurse training. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
