DUTIES
The role includes working with preventive, health-promoting, and remedial measures at the organizational, group, and individual level; working with consultation and supervision for pedagogical staff; taking student and parent contacts, for example in connection with referral writing to other care facilities; working with psychological assessments and evaluations; and providing crisis support in acute matters. An important part of the assignment in student health is to collaborate in preventive and health-promoting work to support the student in achieving their goals. Work is led by the principal at each unit, and the school psychologist is part of the school's student health team and participates in certain conferences within the school. The school psychologist also participates in conferences outside the school with staff within central student health and continuously meets with the central student health's other school psychologists for collegial supervision, professional meetings, and to participate in collaboration meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed psychologist, or psychologist with a degree for PTP service.
